Actor Shah Rukh Khan, while accepting an honor at a recent awards ceremony, opened up about the highs and lows of his recent years, touching upon personal challenges, including his son Aryan Khan’s arrest. During his speech, Shah Rukh shared insights into his successful films from the previous year and engaged the audience with his characteristic humor, interacting with figures like director Mani Ratnam.

While receiving an award, it was his compassionate gesture towards P Veeramuthuvel, the project director of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, that resonated on social media. A video capturing the moment shows Shah Rukh bringing Veeramuthuvel into the spotlight, ensuring the ISRO scientist receives recognition despite his initial reluctance. Earlier, Shah Rukh had joined the ISRO team for a photograph, and during the awards ceremony, Veeramuthuvel and ISRO chairman S Somanath were honored by union minister Dr Jitendra Singh, who humorously dubbed Somanath as ‘the Shah Rukh Khan of space,’ much to the actor’s amusement.

A fan of Shahrukh Khan posted:

“This humble act of Shah Rukh Khan went unnoticed yesterday. An ISRO Scientist was offering his place to him during the group photograph and going to stand somewhere else as he was too nervous in front of him, but SRK pulled him back to stand alongside him”.
